These Big Mac Wraps feature seasoned ground beef, fresh veggies, and a creamy homemade special sauce, making them an ideal choice for a quick and satisfying meal. Perfect for lunch or dinner, they offer a delicious twist on a beloved favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Use a spatula to break it up into smaller pieces as it cooks.
  2. Once the beef is browned (about 5-7 minutes), drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine the spices with the beef.
  4. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, ketchup, white vinegar, sugar, and finely chopped onion.
  6. Mix everything together until it’s smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Lay out a large flour tortilla on a clean, flat surface. Warm it in the microwave for about 10 seconds if it’s cold.
  9. Spread a generous tablespoon of the special sauce in the center of the tortilla.
  10. Add a portion of the seasoned ground beef on top of the sauce (about 1/4 of the beef mixture per wrap).
  11. Sprinkle a handful of shredded lettuce over the beef.
  12. Add diced tomatoes and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
  13. Top with a few pickle slices.
  14. Fold the sides of the tortilla in towards the center, covering the filling.
  15. Starting from the bottom, roll the tortilla tightly upwards until you have a complete wrap.
  16. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas and filling.
  17. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a little butter or oil if desired.
  18. Place the wrapped tortilla seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  19. Carefully flip the wrap over and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Notes

  • For a tangier sauce, feel free to add more vinegar to the special sauce.
  • Cooking the wraps in a skillet is optional but adds a delightful crunch.
