Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Trim any excess fat from the beef sirloin and cut it into 1-inch cubes.
- In a large bowl, combine the beef cubes with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss until well-coated.
- Add soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, mix well, and let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour in the fridge).
- In a small saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden. Be careful not to burn it.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated beef cubes in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes on one side without moving them.
- Flip the beef bites and cook for another 2-3 minutes until browned and juicy (aim for an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare).
- Remove from skillet and keep warm in a low oven if cooking in batches.
- Return the skillet to heat and pour the garlic butter over the cooked beef bites, scraping up any browned bits.
- Toss the beef bites in the garlic butter until well-coated and let simmer for an additional minute.
- Transfer beef bites to a serving platter, garnish with additional parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
- These beef bites pair well with crusty bread, rice, or a fresh salad.
