These Garlic Butter Chicken Bites are a delicious and quick dish featuring tender chicken pieces sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, enhanced with lemon juice and fresh parsley. Ideal as an appetizer or main course, they are sure to delight your taste buds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (or a mix of oregano, basil, and thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch cubes) and place in a large bowl. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried Italian herbs. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Toss to coat and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet, stirring to coat in the garlic butter.
  5. Increase heat to medium-high and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is no longer pink.
  6. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the cooked chicken and stir to combine.
  7. Taste the chicken and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice as desired.
  8. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic and herbs for the best flavor.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even browning.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water or broth.
